WWI Symposium - "The Centennial of WWI" - 10 November 2017 @ Stonewall Jackson Hotel and Conference Center | Staunton | Virginia | United States

The 116th Infantry Regiment Foundation will host a WWI Symposium at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel and Conference Center, starting at 7:00 PM, NOVEMBER 10, 2017.

In conjunction with the annual muster of the 116th Infantry Regiment we will sponsor this symposium about events of World War I.  Scheduled participants are: Major General Timothy P. Williams, The Adjutant General of Virginia; CW4 Alexander F. Barnes (Ret) , Virginia National Guard Command Historian; Mr. William Walker, WWI lecturer, author, historian and educator; Dr. Edmund D. Potter, WWI historian; and BG Theodore G. Shuey, Jr. (Ret), author, former ADC 29th ID(L), and former Commander 116th Infantry Brigade. Included will be the airing of a new video about the 29th Division.

The event is open to the public as a sponsored historical education event.While admission is free a donation of $10 is accepted and benefits the 116th Infantry Regiment Foundation, Inc. and its projects including the Stonewall Brigade Museum and support of the 116th Infantry Regiment “The Stonewall Brigade” (USARS).
