“The 116th Foundation” will sponsor a fun day of Fundraising on Saturday July 15th, 2017.
While the Museum will host an Open House and Grand Opening for the WWI Centennial Exhibit; The Foundation will be selling a BBQ plate Lunch and hosting a LARGE MULT-FAMILY YARD/GARAGE SALE next door!
We are asking all past and present Volunteers, Board Members, Associate Trustees, Friends of the Foundation/Museum and their Families to participate in the Yard sale.
Each Family can bring a car or truck load or two of items they wish to sell and we will provide you a covered stall space to set up in. You may bring items Friday night before to store items for a quick set up Saturday morning.
The Yard sale will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and be advertised heavily in the area. We expect large crowds of shoppers and Museum visitors due to our location on Route 11 and the ads.
We are asking that in exchange for the great space and opportunity to clean house a bit, that you share about half/50% of your sales as a donation to the foundation!
Think about it, if 10 Foundation Families each sell about $300 worth of yard sale items, The Museum could get $1500 if we all give half back…and the Family has earned some Dining out cash, plus had a fun day at the Museum and a great BBQ lunch!
Please Email me or call the Museum if you will help. Thanks!
